How can I pick just one favorite verse? I’ll choose one from the book we’re going through at church and that the I just memorized 24 verses from with the children at church.

I love the book of Psalms. I find it to be comforting, knowing God is always with us, even at the end of our time on earth. I read it to my dad as he took his last breath, and I hope someone reads it to me when I’m taking mine.

One of my favorite verses is one that came to me over and over in my head as well as through a friend when my son was very ill Jeremiah 29:11″ For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord of hosts plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you a hope and a future” My favorite book is the book of Job. I have read it many times when going through really hard times to understand God better.

My favorite book of the Bible is the book of Job. We studied it in high school. It reminds me that we all suffer and that the truly faithful still praise Him despite their suffering and thank Him for the good in life.

I would buy my kids new books. My 2 1/2 year old is learning how to read and my 13 year old reads almost 2 books a week. I’m constantly on the hunt for new books.
